Moroccan inspired lamb mince

A simple and enriching recipe that will nourish and warm you from the inside out

Moroccan inspired lamb mince
Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 40 minutes

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 spring onions finely sliced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 red chilli deseeded and finely sliced
  • 500 g lamb mince
  • Bunch fresh coriander destalked and finely chopped
  • Bunch fresh mint destalked and finely chopped
  • Juice of 1 lime



  • Heat the oil in a frying pan over a medium heat, add the onions and fry gently until softening
  • Add the cumin, coriander and chilli stirring to combine for approximately 2 minutes
  • Stir in the mince, breaking it up to avoid any lumps, and cook until everything is beautifully combined and the lamb mince is cooked how you like it – dare to go crispy 🙂
  • Once cooked, take off the heat and stir through the coriander and mint
  • Add the lime juice and serve on a bed of salad, in tacos or with your favourite vegetables

Top tips

  • Add extra vegetables of your choice – finely chopped red pepper and fresh spinach work well
  • Dry roast some pine nuts to top off this awesome recipe
  • Double the quantities and freeze in portions ready for a late return home
