Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- ¼ cup flaxseeds
- ½ cup ground flaxseeds
- ½ cup water
- 100 g fresh spinach
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoons dried herbs oregano, chives and basil all work really well
Instructions
Method
- Warm 2 tablespoons of the olive oil in a frying pan over a medium heat
- Place the rest of the ingredients into a bowl or blender and mix thoroughly until you have a soft dough
- Take a generous spoonful of the mixture and flatten it out until it is about 3mm thick and covering the frying pan
- Cook for about 5 minutes until beginning to crisp, then flip gently to cook on the other side
Top tips
- Make as little round breads for sharing
- Keep the uncooked mix in the fridge and make up the breads as and when needed
