This isn’t a particularly sweet drink, but its refreshing and filling and contains lots of yummy ingredients.
Ingredients
- ½ green apple
- ½ avocado
- ¼ cucumber skin on or off
- Small handful baby spinach leaves
- Small handful mint leaves
- Juice of ¼ lime or lemon
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds optional
- 200 mls water
Instructions
Method
- Place all the ingredients in a blender/bullet and whizz until everything is smoothly blended and the consistency you like
- Pour into long glasses (or thermos for travel) and enjoy 🙂
Top tips
- You can replace the baby spinach with silver beet and/or if you like things a little sweeter add in your favourite fruits
- Increase or decrease the amount of water to vary the consistency of the smoothie
- This smoothie can be made the night before ready to take to work the next day
